It is great to work for a technology company whose mission it is to improve the k-12 experience for teachers, parents and most importantly ... the students. There is passion for the work and the customers, not to mention the focus on employees and their careers.

Pros

Initially great work environment, great management, great job all around. Lots of variety in the workload and daily tasks. Great environment, generally good customer contacts.

Cons

PowerSchool went independent in early 2015. Since then, the company leaders have made decisions to lessen the quality of the customer service agents. Work environment has gone downhill, and all the good managers jumped ship. Those who leave are too busy sucking up to each other to manage effectively.
