Pros

good money flexible work schedule

Cons

They don't appreciate skill and experience. The 1st year I worked there they laid off all the older workers. One of the worst work experience I have ever had. They had me logging in from my father's death bed to do my work becasue I had no back up and they still laid me off. One on one meetings with one of my managers felt like therapy sessions prying into my personal life and judging me for my age.

Not enough incentive to stay

Pros

- Offers a pension in their benefits package

Cons

- Not good enough work-life balance - Not a competitive salary - Poor professional development - Having a pension offered means there are a lot of tenured people at the company, limiting the amount one can grow when your manager can't keep up with changing technology and also will not be leaving for the foreseeable future - Managers often get plowed over by directors and above, seniority and title equate to more power resulting in unfiltered abuse of IC's time and resources

Pros

*Able to flex your schedule during the day.

Cons

* They are on the lowest end of the pay scale for insurance claims positions. * When trying to ask about raising wages to match inflation the response was were monitoring it. Clearly they arent for those of us here in EWA. * Poor leadership decisions has led to all of the claims teams being understaffed, overworked and underpaid. * You can handle 10's of thousands of claims during the year and are expected to be darn near perfect or your yearly raise gets affected / or worse you lose your job. * It is now expected that you end your shift and make up the time if your away from the screen for longer than a few minutes. No more number 2's on your shift unless you wanna work longer. This harpens back to the overworked/underpaid/understaffed bulletpoint. * PTO and sick time is lumped together. * If you have scheduled PTO and mandatory OT gets implemented you basically lose that PTO time and end up having to work for free.
