Some Upside

Pros

New skill sets, schedule flexibility, good benefits, not a normal ‘corporate’ vibe. Very laid back and down to earth people.

Cons

Smaller company so there’s not a lot of advancement opportunities. The pay is not good at all for the amount of work some projects and clients take. Work/life balance is sometimes tough. Almost too laid back at times as weird as that sounds. HR is non existent (team of 2-3) and does not help resolve issues in a timely fashion. Corporate building is dirty and needs work, yet they expect 3 days in office.

Pros

Laid back position, easy product to represent.

Cons

At the beginning of the program it was great and then new management came in and just steered it into a wrong direction, you will see favoritism within and who they really look out for. You will most likely work in a Best Buy environment and soon learn you will be pressured to take on an almost Best Buy associate roll due to the limited staff. There is no pay rate increase even when being asked to do more and there is no pathway to a higher position.

Thank you for your feedback. We're glad to hear that you found the position laid back and the product easy to represent. We also understand your concerns about management changes and the pressures of taking on more responsibilities. Regarding advancement opportunities, we do have several pathways for career growth, including our Management Development Program, and encourage employees to explore these options. We’re sorry to hear that you didn’t feel supported in this area and appreciate you sharing your perspective. Thank you again for your input!
