Rain For Rent reviews about "management"

Poor management. Always last minute planning.

Not the same capital resources as a public traded company.

Management is very indecisive. Opps manager has no experience in this type of work and will take credit for your work. Another employee that works in the shop is very abusive,will threaten to have you fired,and will tell lies about your work ethic all while riding the clock taking over time without doing any work. This person has had at least 2 people fired or takes credit for it and openly braggs about it. This person was also fired from another job for talking inappropriately towards women. Actually telling everyone that they work with about it. Unfortunately Management has tied themselves to this person for "his extensive knowledge of pumps" although he couldn't answer all questions about the pumps or the installation. Management was informed of a sewer over flow into a local lake/neighborhood because the bypass pump head was broken and it was ignored like it was routine. Instead of taking action to clean it up they turned their head away and said "I didn't see that" or tell the employee "don't send videos like that to the group work chat." Also be aware that this branch doesn't make the companies who rent their equipment sanitize after use. They only have them flush the pumps,tanks,and pipes with water from a fire hydrant. Also the paperwork and verbal request for the hepatitis C&B vacations went unanswered and was never given the vaccine that they are required to give employees. One employee said that being exposed to it will make your immune system stronger than a vaccine. "Like a kid that eats their boogers." An actual quote from a management team member. If you're on the job and you take a lunch break they expect you to eat your lunch while fusing used sewer pipe that was never sanitized from the previous job it was on. They actually shame you if you sit down and eat your lunch. Last thing is that the office manager makes more than the installer,a lot more.

Management is poor . They don't value people. They only care about the company making huge profits.

Not enough help to cover the jobs, management is limited in how quickly they can hire, not much room for advancement

You have to work in rain or snow.

Company boasts about breaking records year after year but hasn’t given decent merit increases or salary adjustments to match the market or to counter inflation year over year. Some Upper Management has lost “Family” values that the Lake family built the company on.
