Pros

Everyone is nice and cooperative. Enjoy the philosophy and service delivery model.

Cons

Pay is awful. Especially because advanced degree is needed. Benefits aren't great.

Pros

Working with the clients can be rewarding. You have the opportunity to help older people to be live successfully, independently.

Cons

Being a newcomer in one of the group homes can be rewarding but, staff aren't readily accepting. Where I worked, there were only a few team players. In the position that I had, it was important to be a team player and if any "toes are stepped on," be ready to get your walking papers if you aren't well established by the company.
