Pros

ReliaQuest stands out as an exceptional workplace, though much of this experience hinges on the individual's perspective and adaptability. Choosing a career at ReliaQuest means embracing challenges and preparing for some demanding days. Yet, the rewards of such commitment are manifold: you'll encounter some of the most inspiring colleagues and teammates, fostering an environment where you're likely to learn more rapidly and extensively than you might have imagined possible. Renowned for its robust training programs, ReliaQuest excels in nurturing highly skilled professionals who are well-regarded across the industry. While the salary may not always top the charts, especially at entry levels, ReliaQuest ensures that those who dedicate themselves to the company's ethos and growth will see their efforts reciprocated with competitive compensation and ample opportunities for advancement. From personal experience, I've found that although immediate financial benefits are significant, the long-term rewards and the value of a supportive team are what truly enrich one's career. Promotions within ReliaQuest are not only encouraged but are often realized swiftly by those who exhibit strong dedication and work ethic. For instance, my own journey to a Senior position within a year is a testament to the company's support for ambitious and hardworking individuals. Moreover, ReliaQuest's commitment to continuous professional development is evident through its offerings like tuition reimbursement and vendor training opportunities. For those who show their worth through dedication and drive, ReliaQuest is keen to invest in their future. In summary, a career at ReliaQuest is a pathway filled with growth, learning, and meaningful relationships. It demands resilience and hard work but promises rich rewards and opportunities for personal and professional development.

Cons

Work-life balance can be challenging at times due to the number of customers and limited head count.

You Get Out What You Put In

Pros

- Almost limitless opportunities to learn technologies and the cyber industry through solving complex problems. - Consistent salary increases if you stick around. - Ability to hop around between different roles, though sometimes they do come with hoops to jump through. - You get the opportunity to work with some very smart people. - Career progression happens much quicker than other companies when the effort is put in. - I've never been punished for taking a risk that didn't work out.

Cons

- You have to fight against pressure to create a balance of outcomes and the rest of your life. while inconvenient and stressful, it's a skill I'll keep with me wherever I end up. - Middle management can often be unclear on the bigger picture, which will require you' to lead yourself. - Some areas of the business have become needlessly over processed causing you to create a solution myself to get things done. - Leadership often sugarcoats all company messaging.

Worst place I’ve ever worked

Pros

Lots of exposure to various technologies

Cons

The leadership here is the most incompetent “frat bro” culture I have ever experienced. They do not care about their employees and will work you overtime for months with no compensation. There is no work life balance here, the company is extremely anti-work from home yet will request you work from home when you call in sick. You are gaslit into believing you are the problem with their mental performance coaches. You are purely a statistic and dollar sign at this company Management only values the “yes men” of the company and only those who agree with them and reject constructive feedback. The micromanagement is criminal and you are made to feel you are in the walls of a prison. You can ask anyone here if they are happy and the answer will be no. If you want to make yourself miserable this is the place for you. Reading the positive reviews here read as if someone asked AI to write a “positive tech company review” for them.
