Pros

I met some of my favorite people working at this company.. trauma bonding? Maybe. But top notch colleagues. You learn a lot too. Variety of customers, use cases, and tool sets.. so you get acclimated to the cyber industry fairly quickly.

Cons

ReliaQuest will break you emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. They promote healthy culture of a hybrid work schedule and unlimited PTO. But you get shamed for working remote, you’re monitored when you clock in and clock out (very big brother-y), and shamed if you god forbid want to take a vacation because that’s not ”top performer” mentality. You’re made to feel that work comes before anything else or you won’t make it and you can’t be successful. If you have a family or plan to start a family do not work here… the expectation is that work comes first. If you’re a top performer you’re treated like gold.. until you have a bad quarter or need any flexibility in your schedule that wouldn’t allow work to come first. Then youre gone and irrelevant. You can work elsewhere and get just as good exposure into cyber, with better pay, better career opportunities, and most importantly…. Respect and mental stability. Trust me.

Great Place To Work

Pros

During my experience at ReliaQuest, I have grown personally and professionally. I've been challenged in different areas and rewarded for the hard work with promotions and new opportunities supporting different departments. They really invest in your mental performance and growth as a person. The new mental performance badging program really pushed me to reflect on personal habits and learning how to improve them. As a person who doesn’t enjoy working remotely, the office environment allows for more opportunities for collaboration, building relationships with other departments which is harder to do remotely. Looking forward to see where the company goes in upcoming years and where I can continue to make an impact.

Cons

As the company has become larger, we have not had the opportunity to connect with our other office locations in person as much as we did in the past.
