Pros
-Only company I have been at that dedicates itself to training the individual. The on-boarding training has been a huge focus point since I joined and improves every year. I have been fortunate to have been put through multiple public speaking classes, leadership training, college classes and SANS training since joining. -Encourages employees to find the best path from A to B, if you have a better way to do something you can create it and apply it. -It’s a family. The culture is unbeatable and is a focus point. Everyone works hard and pushes each other to be better. -Everyone is focused on removing road blocks and ensuring that nothing prevents us from reaching out goals. Everyone is a grinder, you don’t have to worry about working with someone that isn’t passionate about what they do. -Books! The team reads great books that are based on leadership, culture, and personal growth. It makes a difference to be able to randomly talk to the CTO, CEO, and team members about books that you have read recently and take away items you had. Everyone is learning, no one on the team is complacent especially the leadership team. -Involved everywhere especially locally. BSides, DEFCON, Blackhat, ISSA, ISC2, etc. People are encouraged to do talks and the team is always trying to get more involved.
Cons
-Every time you see an issue if you bring it up it’s addressed. Leadership always encourages communication, it goes both ways.
