Pros

Compensation (base salary) is competitive

Cons

-The company culture RQ communicated during my interview process and on boarding is VERY different than the reality of RQ...complete bait and switch -Preach one big happy family-this could not be farther from the truth. -Lack of transparency -Lack of policy and procedures -Lack of collaboration -Lack of work/life balance -Lack of communication (when there is any, its very unprofessional) -Lack of resources -Lack of Management experience -Lack of feedback from Management -Lack of Management in general -Successes are rarely celebrated or appreciated -Most everyone is walking on egg shells around management and executive leadership -Extreme negativity from Management -Prepare to be patronized -Many of these items could be a result of growing pains (small company), which is always a risk you take when working for a startup. I quickly learned this lesson. -Management and Executive leadership does not appear to respect the thoughts or opinions of others. This results in a large corporate mindset with small company resources....far from ideal for any employee. -To sum it up, if you aren't one of the "good ol' boys, good luck

A Great Opportunity

Pros

Culture comes first, then skills. Nobody comes before the company as a whole. Learning opportunities galore. Work with a wide variety of industries and technical tools. Growth comes from within. Compensation and benefits are both desirable. Since people are all expected to buy into the same culture, they tend to all get along very well.

Cons

A culture of fast pace requires adaptability. This may not be a match for everyone. as it can be a challenge, although it is a very fulfilling challenge. We move quickly and change often. This is not a place for people who just want to settle and anticipate a consistent long-term routine with no growth.

Pros

Culture - ReliaQuest has a culture unlike any other. At ReliaQuest I am constantly surrounded by helpful, motivated, and dedicated individuals. Each day I enjoy mingling with my co-workers and I look forward to spending time outside of work with them. The company cares about their Employees and regularly go out of their way to ensure they are happy. Variety - ReliaQuest works with companies in all major sectors. They work both with large and small companies that vary on their security posture. Working at ReliaQuest you get the opportunity to work with a large amount of security teams helping them increase their security health. Unlike most security positions you are not limited to a couple technologies. The pros for ReliaQuest could continue for a while. There are quarterly team building events that are team specific, regular happy hours, paid training, and more.

Cons

Workload - ReliaQuest is a fast pace company waiting on no one. This is one of the reasons that RQ has continued to grow at such a fast pace. Some individuals handle a heavy workload better than others. If you don't really want to work at work, ReliaQuest isn't for you.
