Pros

My manager is very accommodating and understanding towards the staff. They always make sure that the clients are well-cared for, and I feel like the pay, on a baseline level, is generally equated to the work that is being done. Also I do enjoy working with clients and I feel like I have made a difference within this community.

Cons

Despite my previous comments about my manager and pay, I have heard that other managers are not of the same standard and do not treat their clients with the same respect. Also we are always short staffed. I don't know if there has been a minute since I started working at RTI, where we haven't been short-staffed. There also isn't a lot of initiative that the managers are making to hire more people. The pay, while it's good when it's a easy day, does not make up for the long hours I spend past clock-out time managing symptomatic clients, updates, data collection, and many other tasks.

Thank you for providing your feedback and sharing both the positive and challenging aspects of your experience. We’re pleased to hear that you find your manager accommodating and understanding, and that you feel you are making a difference within the community. However, we are concerned to learn about the inconsistencies in management and the ongoing staffing challenges you’ve described. It’s important to us that all our managers uphold the same high standards of care and respect for clients, and we are committed to addressing any discrepancies. Additionally, we recognize the impact that understaffing and long hours can have on our team members, and we are actively working to improve our hiring processes and staffing levels. Your feedback about pay and the additional tasks beyond regular hours is valuable, and we will review our policies and practices to better support our staff and address these concerns. Thank you for your dedication to our clients and for your contributions to Residential Transitions. We appreciate your insights and will use them to continue improving our work environment and support systems

Pros

The managers and admin staff are incredibly helpful and will put in the effort to be emotionally present. When I am feeling overwhelmed or if I am unsure of how to handle challenging situations, there is always someone that I can ask.

Cons

There is a lot of information that needs to be learned at once, so this position can feel emotionally exhausting sometimes.
