Pros

This is such an amazing company to work for. The vibe is young and hard-working. I worked Inside-Sales/Business Development at RoadRunner for two years, less than a year after they opened office in NYC. I started with little experience and a positive outlook. I quickly learned how fast paced RoadRunner can be. Everyone is so supportive and there is an amazing team dynamic. It's a team that likes to have fun, joke around, but always works hard. We were always expected to meet goals. Goals that are difficult but definitely achievable. This is a job that thrives on enthusiasm and positivity. The management of RoadRunner does a fantastic job every day. They encourage everyone to go for their best effort. Sometimes we get spoiled with after lunch cookies, or TGIF Breakfast. It is very apparent that management appreciates every single person in the company. Everyone has a voice at RoadRunner. I loved working for this company. Unfortunately, I had to part ways for my own reasons of moving cross country. I wouldn't have taken the time to write all this if I wasn't being honest. This company is awesome. It's really got a bright future.

Cons

I wouldn't say there are any serious "Cons" to RoadRunner. At least not from the inside sales team. The only cons I can think of are just cons about working in general. The hours, the repetitiveness, the frustrations of speaking with people who aren't interested... It's going to be like that anywhere. I wouldn't say that is only RoadRunner specific. It's a start-up company-- You are expected to work hard and put in the effort.

Pros

My coworkers are awesome. It's cool to work in a place where people genuinely seem to care about each other and want to see each other succeed.

Cons

If you're not sure about sales, look elsewhere. I honestly feel a bit trapped. I like my coworkers, but I don't like the sales culture/mentality. There's too much toxic positivity, too much push to meet quotas and KPIs that are not realistic for so many people. I like my company, but I also wish that I could transfer divisions sooner, rather than having to wait a year. I'd be able to contribute so much more in an area where I can actually use my expertise and knowledge.
