Pros

Casual dress code. Nice former co-workers, still keep in touch.

Cons

This company is run by a large group of male dominated individuals. No one in a management position is a female (hmmm). Most of the management were hired because the all went to the same university...catching the trend of discrimination?

Pros

I enjoyed working with RoadRunner at first. The company is full of young professionals and was a creative, driven, and fun atmosphere. The business model is innovative and there is a lot of room for growth.

Cons

In January there was a change in management. The company started to value quantity over quality and there started to be some serious issues within human resources. There was no corrective action taken and communication between management and employees became unclear and shady. The company became a place of disorder and I would never recommend this as a place of employment to anyone.

Pros

I am ready to leave so I have no pros to add.

Cons

Turnover is extreme over the past year. The mission does not meet the true business model as a waste hauler. Salary and commission structure is not truthful as compared to the interview. Great lack of a diverse work population makes this appalling ing today's environment. The management team lacks clear direction other than to say "grind" which is a deeming statement.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback on your experience at RoadRunner. Please note, RoadRunner takes great pride in providing a clear, honest, transparent, recruiting/interview/hiring process for ALL candidates. In addition, RoadRunner has always clearly defined the sales commission structures in each and every sales offer letter, which remains constant. RoadRunner's mission remains constant as well, which is to create unprecedented value for our customers, employees, and communities by providing technology through a powerful urban logistics engine to recycle more - as safely, efficiently, and environmentally friendly as possible. The year 2020 has yielded the highest employee retention and lowest employee churn for RoadRunner since relocating to Pittsburgh. RoadRunner continues to put diversity and inclusion at the forefront of the business model, resulting in an increase in diverse hires every year since inception. In addition, RoadRunner has an active Diversity Committee that was formed back in 2018. As discussed during new hire orientation, RoadRunner strongly encourages anonymous feedback from all employees who want their voices to be heard regarding any issue inside of the workplace.
