I enjoyed working with the people and maintenance team as we made our fleet of vehicles safer and clean.

Cons

There were none. The job was always rewarding.

good union contract. which is mostly ignored by the company

Cons

The management team is fired, laid off and or quits every 6-12 months. The place is a wreck. They fired 34 Medics and 4 supervisors last years. 50% of the staff was given final written warnings and placed on probation for 2 years. In March. 4 more medics were fired. Prior to RM entering this county in 2011, the yearly turn over rate was 2%. Rural Metro's is 25% a year. Horrible place to work. They care nothing for patients or employees.
