Pros

Had enough equipment to work with as an IT professional.

Cons

The owner, Larry Smead, has a very bad attitude and treats everyone with disrespect which filters down to the workforce creating a nasty work environment. A lot of foot traffic, many are fired or demoted for no specific reasons. Went through 4 engineers within a year. Unhappy working environment, not flexible. The Assistant CTO left the company and the company never hired another and put the helpdesk manager in charge of managing talented Systems and Network Engineers. Not a great choice...

Pros

The only pro is that if you leave before two years then you are someone other companies want. The other pro is that you get to try and figure out which of the top three execs is Moe, which one is Curly and I guess Larry is Larry

Cons

If you work here over two years you are the bottom 10% not the top like they claim, maybe you will be the top 10% of the bottom 10% but if you are long term here then no one else wants you.

Pros

You will get a paycheck! You now have to pay for a portion of your ins. Bonuses are at Managements discretion NOT BASED ON PERFORMANCE. PTO is weak your first couple years.

Cons

Company has lost it's way over the last 10yrs. General Contractors have learned to avoid the headaches by using many other qualified contractors. The revolving door of staff is incredible, this keeps GC's working hard at trying to dial in the next SASCO employee, causing the focus to be taken away from building the job and creating more work for the GC's. Upper Management uses threats of employment (being employed), dangling carrots prior to bonus time, they continually delay bonuses yearly by 3-5+ months (so much for setting the standards). Major politics within this company. As Sr. Management once said, "RAPE AND PILLAGE TO SURVIVE". Company is certainly tanking, so they have been known to buy work, then gouge on change orders at the owners expense. Best to stay away and not get caught up by this outfit. You risk loosing some real opportunities with much better and stable companies out there. The real talent has left to go to other electrical companies.
