Pros

Nice office space and quiet since most everyone chooses to work from home

Cons

I used to feel empowered to speak up when problems arose but that feeling of safety is long gone and it show in the attitudes of my peers and I. SCRAM used to be synonymous with the best of the industry but I don't believe that is still the case because we've lots sight of the values that got us to where we are. I hope that the next private equity group that purchases SCRAM can correct the wayward course we are currently on.

Pros

Work from home is nice

Cons

I spend my day defending poorly designed products, products which are getting worse with time and not better.

Pros

The people here are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. Any time I have a question, I know exactly who to turn to, and I end up learning something new each time. SCRAM is a mission-driven organization, and I genuinely appreciate being part of a company that prioritizes safety and makes a real impact in the community. I also value the flexible working hours—my supervisor is very understanding when it comes to time off or adjusting my schedule when needed. One of the most exciting aspects of my internship has been getting to use and observe a variety of tools and machinery—many of which I had never seen before. Having the opportunity to work with this equipment has expanded my hands-on engineering experience significantly. Assisting in the production side of engineering was new to me, but I’ve already learned so much and gained practical insight into how design translates into real-world application. Although I’m studying mechanical engineering in college, SCRAM has given me exposure to multiple disciplines including electrical, chemical, and systems engineering. This well-rounded experience is helping shape me into a more versatile engineer

Cons

There are no cons I can think of.
