Thank you for taking the time to leave us a comment. Your input is very valuable to us. The experience you described is not consistent with our expectations for teamwork and core values. We agree that staff have great ideas for management relationships! We have several committees in place to seek out and implement staff ideas and to promote better communication among the teams. There are committees dedicated to wellbeing, health/safety, human rights, and more. We would love to have you participate- simply contact a member of the Quality and Compliance or Human Resources teams for more information. Alternatively, if you prefer to share feedback in private, you can use the Conflict Resolution procedure or use the Compliance Hotline at (609) 662-3111, where you can leave an anonymous voicemail.

Pros

You can work flexible schedules and be creative with interventions for the consumers

Cons

Because they're constantly short staffed, it's like a revolving door and the few staff members that stay, get pressured to do everything.

Thank you for your comments. There is a nationwide shortage of healthcare workers. As a result, SERV is facing staffing issues. We have increased our Talent Acquisition Team to recruit the most highly qualified team members aggressively. At the same time, we are working to retain the skilled, dedicated staff who provide compassionate care to SERV’s consumers. SERV offers a highly competitive wage structure and provides generous benefits. We have also increased our tuition reimbursement policy and recently launched SERV University, which offers personal and professional development opportunities for current team members to grow their careers within SERV and the field. We are committed to staff wellness and provide opportunities for team members and their families to gather as a community.

Thank you for your comments. The experience you describe is inconsistent with our Core Values or our high leadership standards. All staff members have the right to guidance and support as well as clear directives and expectations. We would like to learn more about your situation. We would appreciate it very much if you would reach out to a leader in your chain of command as per the Conflict Resolution Procedure or a member of the human resources team.
