Pros

Opportunity to meet a few great people, individuals, close to home and plenty of opportunity for overtime. That's about from me.

Cons

Hoodrats with degrees that think they can say and do anything to you because of such. Homes and clients upkeep is appalling. Many homes in same condition as when serv took them over from DSNJ years ago, yet they received money to fix these homes and get things for the clients. Corporate uses "corrective action" to hold employees back from promotions and of course bonuses to make their bonuses bigger, even if corrective action doesn't really apply to you. When reported, Corporate will use anything you say against you and try to make it seem as if you are wrong in the situation anyway. Managers and higher ups that steal with no shame, google it! One manager even took van multiple times over summer to take family to six flags and said she was taking clients on outing. Health benefits aren't good whatsoever, even though you pay for them. Only expect a promotion of your director is your homegirl. Even though they pay a little more than most agencies in the area, they are not worth any of the issues.

Pros

The consumers were great in assisting them to reach their goals. The opportunity for retirement savings was good.

Cons

The supervision was horrible and inconsistent when it occurred. The time off during the end of the year was not spelled out clearly and was given out unfairly. Higher management was not supportive of middle management. The HR department appeared to treat all staff the same but that was not the case. Lower level staff and minority staff were treated differently from non-minority and higher level and management staff.
