Pros

-Great pay and benefits. -Great Christmas party and got a chance to meet the owner, Simon Lee and his family. His son and daughter worked there and they were friendly. -Great on the job Siebel training.

Cons

- The company let the subcontractors to give a technical direction and let them control the project. Those subcontractors had a big ego and they wanted to become the prime contractor. - They hire people based on friendship, not on skill sets. There were a lot of employees doing nothing. They always spent hours to talk about their nice cars, TV shows, football games and vacations. One of the managers wanted to how boys chased girls. That really sucks. Were they coming to work or to socialize with people? - One of my boss asked me to pass security + test within 1 week. I could not pass it and I had to leave. No training on passing the security + test.

Not Bad - Depends on Contract

Pros

My STG PM was excellent, easy to communicate with and very supportive. I always felt like the PM had my back. I received some good support from HQ while being on client-site although communication with client-site staff wasn't always clear. The benefits were ok, industry standard for being a government contractor. Recruiter was very responsive during the hiring process.

Cons

Convoluted contract where STG was a sub. Not being a prime on a contract poses significant challenges where STG does not have the ability to control the outcomes. Parking in Arlington is expensive and must be paid by the employee out of pocket.

Pros

I just started with STG last week and It is too early for me to provide a complete review, but at this time I am quite impressed with the hiring and onboarding process. HR staff is very supportive and prompt. The company is not too big (as I prefer) and offers very good opportunities.

Cons

None at this time ...
