End of an era

Pros

Quick sales cycles that don’t require prior technical acumen. There are still a few good people left!

Cons

What was once a great culture that treated customers like a partner has turned into a used car salesmen culture that views customers as the enemy that we have to coerce into doing business with even if it isn’t in the timeline of the end user.

Pros

Have developed long lasting relationships with some fantastic minds.

Cons

Sales leadership is empty talk and inflated egos. Quotas are missed, reps are leaving, and nothing changes. They are trying to rule by fear and devalue people — leadership is the core problem. They need to take a hard look in the mirror when 77% of your sales org. is missing quota. Great talent is walking out the door week by week and it's unfortunate that some of the people who are in a high-level leadership roles, Have never sold a dime for this business but believe they understand the process and how things should work because they were successful within a completely different space. It's not apples to apples and the toughest part is, leadership does not want to listen to the folks that have been here, again trying to devalue us into just a number and if you aren't 100+% to your goal then you are nothing.
