Pros

This is a love-it-or-hate-it environment. If you like leaving at 5pm on the dot and are a type B personality, you will probably like it here. Comp is pretty good and there are no real pressures. This is a great place if you like to gossip. If you are a type A personality with drive, you will likely hate this place within the first 2-weeks. Everything moves slow. People that wouldn't survive at other companies seem to just hang out here. The closest company culture match would probably be something like Dave Ramsey's Lampo Group in Franklin as there appears to be a lot of parallels between the organizations. Like I said - flip a coin. You will likely love it or hate it - doesn't really seem like there is a middle ground.

Cons

Way too many to list. Key ones include culture, gossipy admins, pitiful bonuses, terrible travel policies, nepotism, little opportunity to advance, etc., etc. Pick your poison. The company was family-owned with all the warts until recently and that culture still remains.

Pros

SERVPRO does have a quality standard in how they perform and what their expectations are, that is definitely true. They are doing THAT right.

Cons

Interview process was strange. Interviewer said I HAD to have a degree to be eligible for the role although I am currently less than 1 year away from finishing but had more than enough experience to supercede the degree, which, they still interviewed anyway. Then when I circled back on the degree question they said if someone was less qualified but had a degree they would choose them instead lol. Role was solicited as a "manager" not a coordinator role, until I got on the interview. They want you at the corporate office at least 4 days a week, expressing that even 1 day a week WFH is a stretch. Which isn't terrible at all if compensated fairly. When asking about the pay budgeted for this role I nearly laughed. There are entry level college students with basic business degrees who earn nearly double the budget and have modern day autonomy. I am mid-associate range if anything, and completing my studies. This was a big turn off. SERVPRO's requirements are extremely outdated and this will be a tough battle if they keep it up when trying to acquire good/decent talent. I didn't answer any follow up calls, not worth it in 2023.

Pros

Pay is decent, insurance seems to be good

Cons

HORRIBLE. Do NOT take an admin job for this Georgia franchise. The supervisor has been thru 8 people in the last year and a half. 5 since January of this year thru March. There have only been a maximum of 10 employees. she does not hire African Americans. Everyone is bullied. she has been reported several times to her upper management and still nothing has changed. The complaints are now being taken to the state of Georgia to launch an investigation at the company. Please, know that no one lasts past six months. She will bully you out. She is also married to a manager within the company and seems to be bullying out of insecurity and jealousy.
