Thank you for your comments. I do agree with the employee's "Pros" comments. In fact Servpro Industries, Inc. just received its most recent award being named a Tennessee Top Workplace for 2015. The basis for this award were the results obtained from an employee survey conducted via the Tennessean. Which leads me to the employee's "Cons" comments. I respectfully disagree with this former employee's opinion and allow me to briefly elaborate.
I report directly to Sue Steen, the Company's CEO. Yes, at one time, Sue did review and edit some of the articles before they were printed in the Company's monthly Newsletter. Sue has delegated much of her proof and editing responsibilities to the Company's Editor. However, Sue and our other Executives are "hands on" in reading, editing and approving key documents, contracts, etc. As Executives, approving key documents is one of their many key responsibilities. Our Executives are committed to actively leading our company. As one of the Company's Division Managers, I have been delegated the responsibility and authority to do my job, as well as the other Division Managers.
Business practices are improving. Manual processes, including those in my Division, are in the process of being converted from manual to automated processes. Many non-IT Divisions, including mine, have access to Project Managers to assist our Division complete its non-IT related projects. Our PM's have been a tremendous benefit to completing projects in our Divisions.
The Company is totally committed to personal and professional development. One of my HR professional staff members is 100% dedicated to employee training and development. SERVPRO has award-winning training facilities, all employees have 24/7 access to thousands of cloud-based video streaming training programs, and we also offer on site "brick and mortar" training programs.
