Pros
I met with a lot of people during the interview process. I enjoy that experience because I was able to learn about the company from many perspectives. It also gives a window into who the players are and how the cross functional teams engage, since that is a key part of my role. HR team really helped move the process along - which I was pretty impressed by the processes/timelines/reminders/welcome webinars. I am a remote employee and think the onboarding was done really well. Team is really tenured and knowledgable!
Cons
Not a con - just current circumstance! I started during the pandemic and was hired as a remote - so there is limited physical time with the team. The company has shifted to temporary 'remote first' but really values the in -person time at the office for collaboration, meetings, relationship building, stimulate company culture, ideation, and time with my team. We have access to great digital tools that help us virtually collaborate - so it's a work in progress and the company is very intentional.
