Pros

HONEST Review (Opinion) Company started out cool until company started growing. A lot of issues started happening within this last year once people started to suspect the company wasn’t allegedly operating lawfully. I wasn’t there but i was told the CEO threatened people to take their reviews down bc it spoke on the terms of unlawfully conduct. In my opinion if accusations aren’t true its nothing to worry about. That definitely was handled wrong. What should have been done was making your employees feel secure by assuring SCO abides by all Rules. You want a small family oriented business but you cant run it like that when u are expanding. My advice take some classes on leadership. Everything is not always about money!! Management needs a total wipe out! You have a Claims manager who has been overlooked, Overworked and humiliated at this point. U promote someone to a position that she should have been in line for. If there were issues with any manager in regards to how they manage, the company should provide leadership courses and educate. They shouldn’t give promotions in a secretive way just because a manager seems to slack in their eyes. Job duties aren’t clear. You give the titles but want people to Perform tasks that doesn’t align with the title. Doesn’t equip you with the experience. There is no room to grow. Once you get to the charge dept, they either start making up positions or handing them to people who cry. Position was created for someone who threatened to leave. Also position or give it to people who personally told me that the company was allegedly operating unlawfully. Because of those accusations my guards were up last year. It almost cost me my job. I was told I Didn’t display A happy attitude. I was called into the office and offered severance. However there is an employee (Not of my race) who allegedly committed a crime and was offered a leadership position to regain the companies trust. This doesn’t sound like to me promotions are giving fairly. Also sounds like to me other people of advantage gets better chances than others. The last promotion sent me over board. Not because im a hater but because i’m logical. You wait until the Director goes on leave to make major changes. Sounds like to me this was pre-meditated. Also they baby the unprofessional workers. As a team lead, Ive experienced the most toxic and disrespectful environment there. Grown women acting like teenagers. Bullying and hating because someone got a promotion over them. Honestly had to leave because I know my worth and I wasn't hired to babysit toddlers. However hopefully the company handles my bullying Complaint against all 3 workers. If not There’s always more ways to handle it legally. Honestly if the company corrects those things and pluck out the dead leaves then i believe it can grow. Every employee aint being negative. People complain because they care. Then leave when they feel you don’t.

Cons

Poor Communication and Unfair promotions

Based on recent feedback from current and former employees, many improvements have been or are in the process of being made, but we understand that some might not see that as enough to make them want to stay. It saddens us to see any one of our former employees so dissatisfied that they would post such a negative review, but we strive to use constructive criticism as an opportunity for further improvement. When our founders started SkinCure Oncology, they vowed to maintain a family-oriented atmosphere no matter how large or successful the organization grew and are still committed to that vision. SkinCure Oncology believes in a team approach without “we” “them” barriers which can be counterproductive to team success. Although not perfect, we strive to be one of the best places to work. We offer dermatology practices the opportunity to offer their patients a far less invasive and superior alternative to Mohs surgery, and more than 99% of patients say that they were happy with the results and would recommend Image Guided SRT to others. We look forward to similar satisfaction scores from our employees, and we’re working hard to achieve that. For those who might be looking for a meaningful work experience, we hope you’ll consider joining our team.

We love Glassdoor and the reviews posted by both current and former employees. The good reviews tell us we’re on the right track, and the negative reviews tell us where we need to improve. Regarding this review, we’re perplexed and unsure how to respond. We’ve checked our records and not a single employee in the San Antonio region has left our organization in the past year. We encourage all our San Antonio-based employees to post their honest reviews on Glassdoor. Tell us how we’re doing, and what we might do better!
