Not a company that will help you grow

Pros

- good projects to work on - handful of employees are good - none - none - and no more pros

Cons

- low salary - inexperienced engineering managers, - poor planning by engineering managers - if you are on h1, don't join. You should never be asked to pay to transfer h1s! - did they offer GC? Don't join, you will have to agree to paying all GC Expenses plus they will never come forward about their GC filing plans - offshore India team is okayish and you have to manage them as well

Management Uses You As Long as They Want and Avoid Your Needs Altogether

Pros

This company had some clients. The number of clients was not huge, but they at east had a few of them.

Cons

The upper management is awfully selfish. They will use you for as long as they need you and then discard you like trash. If they have no projects for you, they will fire you. It was the worst feeling ever to realize that I had no worth here. It was ridiculous. Please avoid working here if you don't want to stress about job security all the time or live worth the fear of unexpected job loss.

Employees are exhausted and verbally abused

Pros

None. No one likes being abused and exhausted.

Cons

The management of Smartek21 is full of problematic managers, and they are the reason for the horrible work environment and culture of this company. Most of the managers are close-minded and never listen to the employees. They are also verbally abusive most of the time, and the best thing to do is just avoid or ignore them.
