Pros

My experience at SpecialtyCare has presented me with opportunities to grow, change, and experience new things. Working for SpecialtyCare has also given me the opportunity to help people and affect change. My colleagues are stimulating and passionate about what they do and my superiors are good leaders and are fair: if I have a concern, they listen and take action. When I bring up new ideas, I am treated with respect. I know when I get to work in the morning I will be valued, encouraged, and challenged. This company values hard workers, so be prepared to buckle down and give it your all. However, management is also very understanding of the need for time off. I continuously recommend this company to my friends and previous colleagues (both academic and professional) as a great place to work and I recommend it to whoever reads this post. It's a past paced, energizing, and a place where you can grow and succeed.

Cons

I have no cons for SpecialtyCare. I have a very high and demanding standard for the work place and SpecialtyCare gets an A+. The people here care about giving great service to our patients.

Pros

If you have no other option, it's a job.

Cons

Long Unpredictable Hours and Locations Constantly changing infrastructure and policy - people can go months without knowing who their supervisor is or will be. Regional leadership is poorly trained - not knowledgeable about service lines, region, or customer needs Deteriorating clinical infrastructure and support - additional burden on clinicians Decreasing benefits - unpaid mileage, unpaid overtime, increasingly expensive health insurance, loss of unused vacation days, but nearly impossible to get vacations approved unless a year or more in advance. Poor raises, limited to no advancement opportunity Unsustainable business model - attempting to gain contracts at any cost, while neglecting to hire / keep clinicians to fill them.

Pros

Vision and Values of company appeal to me; career opportunities are great; professionalism of associates are exceptional

Cons

Company is still young and experiencing growing pains, it has not yet reached its peak brand potential and has therefore not yet made inevitable market impacts.
