Pros

Some of the people are nice, but there are a lot of cliques. Location is okay.

Cons

Do the owners and managers actually work here? We never saw them. The pay is ridiculously low - about $20-30k less than comparable salaries in this area/sector. You cannot afford the insurance and are often stuck working late, without compensation. There is a very high rate of turnover, with employees quitting in mass exodus every week. They hire people constantly to replace those who leave, and it is very hard to keep up with who is no longer working there and who is new; by the time you figure it out, that person has quit already. It's a growing company with no solid structure. Lots of department managers, which are totally unnecessary. Underlings are not valued.

Pros

The support staff are very supportive of each other.

Cons

The vibe feels very stifled and generally icky. Employees are unhappy and you can feel it. Unhappy, overworked individuals all agree that the Company has grown beyond its ability to manage the large number of accounts. The appropriate infrastructure is not in place to handle the growth. And, yes, the Monday Morning lecture by the leader has GOT to go- especially the cheesy music he incorporates into the segment.

Pros

Freedom to go out to visit properties when needed. Fun & reliable co-workers. Individual decision-making in a team-like environment. A lot of great people work at entry-level and community management positions.

Cons

Upper Management is not a positive group of people. Always looking for your faults, rarely supportive. The company has lost site of it's overall goals. Mission statement of the company very secretive. No transparency. You are made to feel as though each day is your last and you are lucky to be there. Work-load is well-beyond manageable. You may be given as much as 20,000 homes or 8-9 communities to manage all at once. Expected to conduct regular and bi-montly Board of Director meetings. They advertise salaries up to $50,000 per year. In reality you can expect somewhere around $35,000. A typical work day will begin at 7:30-7:45 and go until 8:00-10:00pm depending on whether or not you have a Board meeting to conduct. In addition, you are on-call 24/7 and are expected to answer the call within 15 mins. or less. There are repercussions if you don't.
