Pros

During the pandemic, we went fully remote, which helped me realize I prefer working remotely. The marketing team is also a pleasure to work with.

Cons

Stefanini's marketing department is intensely chaotic and for me, was a very frustrating work experience. To start. there are no SOPs or any standardized work processes in general. Nothing happens in the form of written communication, which means nothing is documented, further contributing to the chaos. Any communication that does happen must take place in the form of meetings, which are numerous, time-consuming (often running overtime), disorganized, and ultimately, unproductive. The marketing department's only KPI is output, which doesn't translate into meaningful results or leads for the company. Projects are often assigned at the last minute, forcing team members to scramble and produce work that is of poor quality. Team members are also pressured to check their work phones 24/7 so they can handle "emergencies" as they come up, even after business hours and on weekends. As a result, morale is low and turnover is high, further disrupting the department's ability to achieve its overall objectives (which change constantly and without warning). Prior to the pandemic, the department mainly produced sales collateral like brochures and the occasional video for RFPs. The pandemic (and forced transition to digital marketing) made it very clear that the department's leadership does not have a meaningful understanding of Stefanini's market, target audience or how to market within a B2B space strategically. Ultimately, I did not find Stefanini to be a good environment for learning relevant marketing tactics or skills that would help me further develop my career. Instead, it was very stressful and I am relieved to no longer work there. To be clear, the marketing team is very capable. Unfortunately, the issues within the department stem from overarching managerial problems that are embedded into the corporate culture; as such, the environment is unlikely to ever change.

Pros

If you're new to IT or customer service and want a foot in the door, they will literally hire anyone. Half of my team had zero IT experience.

Cons

As mentioned above, half the team knows zero IT info and the other knows some to a lot, meaning half the team has to carry the other half. The team leaders and managers do not help in the slightest unless the numbers are down and they have to. Expect to have a work load way higher than it should be due to understaffing/poor team training and just a heavy workload to start with. Get the mouth experience and get a different job, trust me, there is no promotion opertunities here unless you are there for 8+ years and that promotion may pay 18 an hour when with that much experience under your belt you could make 2 to 3 times as much somewhere else.

Pros

The team I work with are pretty great. Good if you have zero professional helpdesk/IT experience. 100% remote

Cons

Underpaid for the amount of work they have you do. Will literally hire people with zero helpdesk or IT experience in a role that has you doing IT stuff... The yearly raises are a joke, think mine was .13 with a 5/5 review for each year.. Just so much wrong with this place. If you want to get your foot in the door do so and move on asap. Other jobs like this pay almost double. Most of the time we are also understaffed because its not in the budget... then complain when the numbers don't look right..... Also your chance of moving up will take literal decades to get a job that might pay $16 an hour.

Hello, and thank you for your review. We are sorry that you are not satisfied with your time spent at Stefanini. It is unsettling to read your statements regarding career growth, as we have a great track record of promoting from within! Did you know that you can apply for other positions within Stefanini that fit your skill set on our career page? Stefanini University also has "aspire journeys" that walk you through the knowledge, skills, and experience needed to move into roles outside of the helpdesk. Additionally, staffing levels are largely dictated by anticipated call volume. Thank you again for your time. Stefanini People and Culture- Sarah
