Pros

Great product, works well, gains clinician and lab confidence. Tons of New products, but no follow thru on the operational side

Cons

VERY POOR leadership and operational methods. Its ran very old school. Autocratic old white guys for leadership. lots of new products are great if they could put the whole package together. Unfortunately that gets put in the comp plan before products are really ready. They have run out of run way for Straumann premium brand and purchased value brands Neodent, and Nuvo. and are trying to fingure out how to bring it all together without discounting Straumann implant brand Double digit growth yearly is required in order to stay employed . As well as selling digital scanners, software, clear aligners , etc,etc

Pros

Good benefits, good company but the managers of customer service and Human Resources DPT are stinking the company.

Cons

Managers of CSR need to be replaced, and HR as well. They never say anything is wrong, give you praise on your weekly meetings; and when comes time to get rid of you, makes up a bunch of stories that never happened just so they don’t get sued for discrimination. These managers have no loyalty; the agents who perform the most get let lo, and the slackers on you-tube everyday with a 40% stats get to stay. They don’t care if you participate in company’s events, potlucks, secret Santa games. The agents who don’t participate in nothing get recognize, and the others who perform 100%, participate in everything, are let go.

Straumann Group Response

We are sorry to hear that your situation was not a positive one. Straumann is a high performance organization, which means that people are held accountable for the results that they achieve. While we work hard, we also play hard; however, participation in some of activities you mention do not weigh in to the results on which people are measured.

Pros

If you love people this is a great fit but you will have to work hard to obtain your own knowledge on the product by yourself. The benefits are great and the pay is decent. Straumann makes a great product.

Cons

The products are great but the training of the staff is rushed, disorganized and surface level that it is hard as an employee to assist the customers with all their questions about the product. Their reference material is very scientific and lengthy that it is of no use to the customer service representative who has to read 30 pages to find the data. The supervisors work against each other and one gossips about the other, creates conflict, disrespects her staff and has no tact. Products are constantly on back order and shipping is soooo understaffed that orders are wrong, things don't go out on time, customers are upset and customer service is stuck holding the bag! Favoritism is a game that is played here as well.
