Pros

The culture is cooperative and politics are fairly minimal Extremely professional and helpful support staff Has the professional edge of a much larger company but is small and family focused

Cons

Nepotistic - you'll see full families in their email directory They treat people who are not prior military as second class citizens. I am a veteran but it was a noticeable distinction and those who had not served complained about this rather loudly. I saw it and found it to be a problem as a diverse set of backgrounds is always beneficial to problem solving. Speaking of diversity, it is a serious issue. All the black people are in IT, all the women are in HR. They have one token black male and one female in senior management. The company is run primarily by retired submariners who served when women weren't allowed on board. It shows, and while they're always super polite, they super politely never promote you and treat you like a secretary. Where you come in is where you'll be....forever. Some people love that and don't want to grow in their career - they want to be a subject matter expert and stay in that position for eternity. If you are that person, this is a great place. If not, enjoy your time and move on after a few years.

Pros

Good culture. Paid to just show up. Flexible hours.

Cons

No training or development. No oversight. Leaders can’t make decisions without getting executives involved. Pay and benefits are average at best. HR team is very bad.

Pros

- Intelligent workforce - Free Parking - Personal Offices - Great coworkers - Plenty of Interesting and Important work

Cons

- Severely lacked ethnic and gender diversity at all levels - Company culture is problematic, stuck in the past, and leadership touts small common sense changes as huge progress - Distrust of employees, other teams, and customers - Work is not distributed evenly within teams - For the level of talent they employ benefits are severely lacking - Little social aspects outside of work
