Pros

Great trainers. Good training material.

Cons

When I started working here my first week I saw an email. The email stated that there would be a delay in payroll. I was a little concerned. 2 weeks later there was another delay in payroll. We were told that the checks were lost in the mail. I have direct deposit so I'm not sure how this applies. After waiting for my check for 7 days. I had to go into the office. When I got there the lobby was full of disgruntled employees that had not been paid. It was awful. People were crying and begging for their checks throughout the lobby. Some of them had their internet shut off because they couldn't make a payment. Not good when you have a work from home job. One of the employees had no idea how she was going to get food for her family. There were employees screaming and crying in the parking lot. Eventually one of the employees stepped out to call the US Department of Labor and let the person at the front know. Then something magical had happened. All of a sudden we received our deposits. I gave my absolute best and I deserve to be paid. I should have received my final check on 10/8. It is now 10/12 and no pay. It must be another delay.

Pros

High hourly pay, great training, team supervisors were truly invested in agent's success, helping people with important financial decisions, great coworkers.

Cons

No job security; low commissions; very low morale; top performance agents are repeatedly rewarded for stealing sales and lying to clients; bizarre culture of favoritism and celebrity treatment between veteran employees and management; secrecy and dishonesty in regard to leads that were provided, where they came from, and their quality; a flawed system of "giving you the leads you'll be able to sell best" based on past performance with no further explanation; mass sudden layoffs company-wide; heavy micromanagement of employees; don't ask questions above your pay grade.

Pros

Paid licensing by company. I made a lot of friends, I️ am thankful for the few good people I’ve met through TZ. Everything else sucks though

Cons

It’s the most dehumanizing job I’ve ever had. I was with the company for almost 4 years, and that means nothing to them. When everyone evacuated for the hurricane, once we came back to work almost 70% of my team got put on ADP (a development program) and if you didn’t hit your sales goal you were fired, which is horrendous because it wasn’t the agents fault that the company goal wasn’t hit due to a NATURAL DISASTER. They don’t care about honesty and integrity, I heard agents on a daily basis breaking insurance laws and management does nothing about it ESPECIALLY if that agent is a top seller. Also a huge issue is constantly decreasing bonus structures. I started out making $55k a year, and this year I’ll barely hit $40 if I’m lucky. I truly believe that the reason why they’re firing so many veteran agents is so that they can make room for new agents who have no idea how good the pay used to be. Cheap company with no morals
