Pros

Pay is decent (not necessarily the highest but above average), coworkers for the most part are great, hardworking people, state of the art technology and equipment, lots of opportunity for OT because the company is always short-staffed.

Cons

Literally everything else. Hours of operation are ridiculous for a dentist office (opening shifts start at 6:30a and closing shifts end at 8:30p), extremely high turnover rate for all positions (doctors, DAs, hygienists, reception, management) and at all levels, including HR and corporate, certain employees get favoritism/preferential treatment and are excused for terminable offenses while other people are fired on the spot for the same things (there’s supposed to be a “point system” but it is very rarely enforced), lack of communication and transparency between management and the studio, and the list goes on. And that’s only operational. Don’t get me started on how terrible the company is at providing care to patients. “Doing dental differently” is a scam. This company is run like a Medicaid office, just much more aesthetically pleasing. I wholeheartedly agree with the previous reviews that say the company is all about numbers. They truly do not care about employees or patients alike.

Pros

Good pay. State of the art technology. Great doctors. Advancement opportunities. Diverse.

Cons

Too many changes! It’s turning out to be just like any other DSO. The original culture made it a joy to come to work! Now it’s stressful! The prices of services keep going up. At first nitrous was free, then it went to $81 now it’s $145!!! And all of this happened over the course of 12 months!! The change in upper management wasn’t a good call and they constantly hire people with no dental knowledge or background which is frustrating to dental professionals

Those improvements do bring on changes, and we do our best to effectively communicate why we are making changes and how they will impact the team and our members.
