      Worst Managers UWS and Williamsburg Don’t Go to this Company

      The best reason is to provide great members experience.

      Cons

      All other studio locations have great managers. If someone gets hired, please never go to Williamsburg locations and UWS, they have got the worst failed managers who are extremely unprofessional and psychopaths. They need to know if the employees say something in their benefit, that doesn’t mean they should take it personal attacks. Extremely failure at organizing anything.

We do focus on hiring the right person for the right roles, and highly value a strong, empathetic leader. The HR team is very receptive to feedback, and we have several avenues for providing feedback from reaching out directly to HR, filling out anonymous surveys throughout the year, or filling out an anonymous claim. We review, listen, and respond to all team member feedback. We all have development and learning opportunities, and we do focus on leadership development for HR and our studio managers. We know employer benefits are extremely important to our team members and their families, so we provide a variety of benefits from healthcare, to a strong 401k company match, to emergency child care. We are thankful for all of our team members, and our Dentists are incredible providers and very pivotal to a great member experience. We may be biased, but we do have the best Dentists around! We are continuing to grow and are very excited to open a studio in Westport, Connecticut this summer, which is a new state for us.       Pros

      The team The Culture The mission Flexibility I truly enjoy every second at Tend. This company gives you a platform to grow. Since we are still fairly new, the are endless opportunities for growth. Change has happened since I first started, but things always change. The intent behind the change is always positive w/ hopes that every change pushed our company forward. A lot of people have unrealistic expectations of their employers-- I think most of us forget-- this is still a business.

      Cons

      Nothing-- Tend is a new company that will go through "growing pains" like most companies. They listen to feedback and try to self-correct almost immediately.
