Severe Micromanagement. Textron Aviation has a staff of around 20 EHS Engineers. In the past two years they have mowed through 36 of them. High turnaround. That is due to an insane workload that is 3X as much as any safety person should be doing. Cessna is still Cessna, while Beechcraft still has much better overall culture. Cessna management is working on changing the Beech culture, which is not a good thing. I've always been told to stay away from Cessna, but I was hoping that Textron had improved the work culture there after the buyout. This just hasn’t happened and probably never will. I'd avoid the EHS department.
