Pros

great money if you put in effort especially if you're going to school depending on the location it's usually a young crowd working alongside you no reason you should walk out with less than $100 every shift in florida

Cons

depending on the location you might work a lot harder for a lot less compared to other locations.

Thanks for the review! One of our biggest points of pride is our consistency. Regardless of location, our restaurants are constantly busy. Busy restaurants mean consistent hours, regardless of whether you're front-of-house or kitchen. We're proud to offer that at all of our restaurants. But just like any other business, the consistency might vary slightly from location to location. Thanks again for the feedback, and we wish you the best!

Pros

Honestly, this company has a lot of resources and makes really good money. That being said, it is a very Top-Down Corporate run place: meaning that you do it their way or you will not last in the company. I've worked at 3 different locations throughout California and the managers (mainly the General Manager) make all the difference in the world. Once you start with the company, it can take time to prove yourself and earn the better shifts. It is pretty easy to make good money even in sections that are not good. It is a lot to take in at first, the menu is huge. The restaurant gets insanely busy and you have a lot to do work wise. But they tend to hire great people, and it has been a wonderful experience. James Frasier of Cerritos, CA, and James Westbrook of South San Jose are the two best GM's you could ever ask for :)

Cons

Their business model is to appease any guests that complains enough. I saw this devalue the restaurant and train guests to be needy and difficult.

Thank you for leaving this review. Insight like yours is extremely valuable as we continue to think of ways to not only improve the guest experience, but the employee experience as well. We promote a culture of communication, so we certainly hope you've expressed your concerns with your GMs directly (we're thrilled to see you think so highly of them!). We also hope you've utilized our employee feedback collector CakeTalk on the portal. If you're not familiar with it, please ask a manager - we read every suggestion that comes through and have made some significant changes thanks to those suggestions. Thanks for taking the time to leave this review and for being part of our family! We hope you'll consider returning in the future.
