Pros

It’s ok for a temporary job but not for long term.

Cons

Treatment of frontline employees is the worst I’ve ever seen with a company. The amount of pressure and unrealistic quotas in an environment of Walmart?? Management have no idea what reality is. Quotas are set per day. I literally sold 3 phones one day, threatened the next for not having a sale in 3 hours. The constant threats and distrust in unbearable. They have a chat that you must constantly be apart of or they consider you goofing off. Think about that, you must constantly message in the chat or you aren’t working. For each sale you get, you have to update in the chat. I mean, they can see we are selling but I have to take time out to tell them I sold a phone. You have to convert prepaid customers to postpaid. They are adamant you run their credit as if they are stupid. “Bring them to the computer” generally people know what they are looking for. Just because they have prepaid doesn’t mean they are second class. Don’t service the prepaid either cause you don’t make money off of them. So don’t give good service for a potential sale down the line. Walmart cuts hours, so you spend half your time looking for an associate for a customer or a key to get an accessory for your own customer. Management expects a minimum of 1 postpaid phone sold a day, that’s impossible for a low traffic store. Praise the sales in the bigger stores and write up sales reps in smaller stores. I was wrote up my second week cause of lack of phone sales. My second week!!! That’s insanity! The amount of pressure the company puts on their reps in crazy!!! Some have been fired for committing fraud for post paid phone sales and the company is disappointed. But should they be??? It stems from their treatment of the reps. I had PTO saved when I left the company for a better job. Was I paid the PTO?? NO!!

Pros

Pays fairly good, offers health benefits (that its paid from your pay check of course) and discounts/coupons program, very flexible with your schedule.

Cons

Very very unstable company to work for in the last few years, wound say since 2021, you have a constant change of Managers, from the store to the market to the general and all other positions after that, they really don't care or at least fake it a bit to make you feel like they care about you (or their employees in general), they really never care for fixing internal problems so they are always replacing people they don't care to keep employees, they rather get rid of them creating a culture where they get rid of you if you are not beneficial for them, they wont talk with you they would just take you out of there, miscommunication between everyone to cover them selfs from problems and just not deal with them, you have no holiday pay, overtime is it paid time and a half BUT they would always try to keep 10 hours under your typical 40 hours a week, they pretty much wanna treat they full time employees as part time, their training its not good, they would have you starring at a screen for 2 weeks showing you everything but how to work the actual systems they used, and also the trainers are always changing, again a company that does not keep employees and just keep replacing them, there was a point where there was nobody to train new employees, just overall very selfish, unstable and unprofessional company that wont keep employees long and wont give you that hope to grow whiting a company because you see how they don't care, sorry for the long rant.
