Pros

Some people here are cool, health insurance is covered

Cons

Management doesn't listen and will claim ideas as their own to look better. I will bring up an idea to my boss and he will shoot it down. Then he will steal it as if it was his own. This has happened multiple times. Employees are scared to bring it up to the owner b/c previous people have brought it up before and he doesn't listen. They also lie about the numbers to make themselves look better. I don't think the owner is very good with numbers or doesn't know how to dive into them on his own to see the lies. I would not recommend this place in its current state.

The same disgruntled person continues to post these negative reviews. He should take responsibility for his failures in this position instead of lashing out at us.

Pros

Overall staff is friendly and the developers seem fairly competent, Would probably be fine company to work for as an initial job out of college, as long as you can meet the wife's approval.

Cons

Company is run like a garage, mom and pop oeration. Unfortunately, the wife, who is the mom in "mom and pop", pulls too many of the strings for an IT shop, yet has no IT background whatsoever.

This review doesn't apply to our business, and begs us to question if it was created accidentally or malicious intent. The depiction of the owner's wife's role in the organization is entirely nonsensical. The owner's wife is not involved in making hiring decisions. Because this review is anonymous there is no way for us to get clarity on these concerns or request confirmation it was posted to the right company. The focus of TherapyNotes has always been on product quality and engineering, and decisions are always made based on customer needs and industry changes. We have requested that Glassdoor remove this review.

Pros

They hire recent grads and college students, some employees were decent people. There are a good amount of yuppie lunch places nearby.

Cons

No raises, yearly bonus was a joke. Facilities are a joke. Employer does not care about the comfort of employees. No version control for the software - not even 1 of the many great, free options. Employee workstations are a joke. The company is still run like it's a one man operation.

This is an old review from 2010 and was written regarding Pliner Solutions, our former business. It doesn't at all apply to our business. We've moved offices twice since then, and we are in a much larger office with awesome facilities. We used to use SVN and now we use Git. Our company is over 60 employees, including a development team of over 20. As far as being "cheap" that is absolutely not the case - we make sure everyone has the tools they need and everyone is comfortable in their work environment.
