Pros

Working in different locations was great. I started part time at a different property and loved it. Once I changed properties everything went downhill.

Cons

Working here was a nightmare due to the micromanaging regional manager who ignored team feedback and created a hostile work environment. Fair housing laws were blatantly violated, When morale plummeted due to conflicts between the property manager and maintenance tech, concerns were dismissed. Policies were inconsistent—initially, first-time renters were automatically denied, only for the rules to completely flip five months later. The regional manager's dismissive and demeaning comments about staff and residents ("better people") were unacceptable. Growth opportunities were misleading; the so-called "green track program" was useless outside the company, offering no real career advancement or certifications. Avoid this company at all costs.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback about your experience with our company. We're concerned to hear about the negative aspects you described, and we want to address them. We're glad you initially enjoyed your time at a different property and found the flexibility of working in different locations beneficial. However, we're very sorry to hear that your experience changed so drastically after moving to another property. The issues you raise are serious and not reflective of the work environment we strive to create. We are particularly concerned by your allegations of a hostile work environment, micromanagement, ignored team feedback, and violations of fair housing laws. These are matters we take seriously. We also want to understand more about the specific instances you mentioned regarding policy inconsistencies and the comments made by the regional manager. We appreciate you bringing the green track program to our attention. We recently enhanced the program's structure to continue to grow team members. We encourage you to contact us directly at hr@timberlandpartners.com so we can gather more details about your experience and take appropriate action.

Pros

Timberland Partners was the best company I have ever worked for. Really felt appreciated and part of a work family. This is a company that the higher executives don't consider you just a number but a valuable asset to their growing business. I spent 7 years working there and it was amazing. The training program is very well developed and they support you every step of the way. I was sad to leave due to not a lot of room to grow in the Florida region. I wish every company was this proactive and caring about their employees. If you get a job here, you are lucky!

Cons

Not much room to grow in Florida.
