Pros

That's not why we're here.

Cons

Don't trust any positive reviews. The last three 5 star reviews were all posted on the same day, ironically the same day the entire C-Suite visited CEO Luke Hejl's lake house. TimelyCare leadership is realizing they have lost the faith of their employees and are desperately attempting to control public perception and squash the negative reviews. I genuinely believe Netflix will pick this up as a 3-part documentary on how one CEO managed to allow his corporate and personal greed drive a once-proud company straight into the murky depths he sails his yacht upon. I mean, this company was founded in 2020 but one of the reviews stated they were a former employee of 10+ years. They aren't even attempting to hide it.

We understand that trust is earned, and your feedback is important in helping us grow stronger as a team. While it’s difficult to hear that your experience didn’t fully reflect the values we strive to uphold, we remain committed to transparency, accountability, and care for our team members and the students we serve. TimelyCare encourages all team members to share their genuine experiences, and we do not control, solicit, or remove employee reviews. The recent five-star reviews were submitted independently and are not connected to leadership meetings or company events. Our leadership team remains focused on transparency, accountability, and the continued development of our people and culture. In 2025, guided by employee feedback, we strengthened communication and trust through monthly company-wide forums that share progress on goals, enhanced opportunities for anonymous feedback, and executive skip-level sessions designed to foster open dialogue. Results from our 2025 Manager Effectiveness Index reflected meaningful progress, with over 92% of employees agreeing their manager “cares about them as a person and an employee.” We recognize and take this feedback seriously, as we remain dedicated to strengthening trust while remaining an employer of choice.

Pros

You can commiserate with your friends!

Cons

The last review is especially astonishing. If you talk to most lower level employees, they would admit to how damaging working here has been for our mental health (the irony). These are good employees with long term experience in the industry and I can honestly say this is the most toxic job I’ve had in my career. People are dropping like flies. Top employees are leaving because they are fed up. If the job market wasn’t so bad right now, most people would be gone. Big name institutions are leaving because TimelyCare has been taking advantage of the huge profit margins from their inflexible pricing structures for years. New products are sold before they’ve been developed because profits are more important than ensuring quality. Notice how all the “5 star reviews” point to “how great the leadership team is”. A little suspicious, right? If you enjoy overworking, micromanagement, unrealistic expectations, and working in a space where everyone is scared to speak up, then this is the place for you! This leadership team talks about accountability all the time and rather than taking accountability themselves, they have meetings to delete the honest reviews left here, shift blame onto others, claim they always strive to improve company culture so the public optics are less bad, but ultimately do nothing to make change and support their employees.

The claims in this review do not reflect how we operate. We reject the characterization that quality or integrity are sacrificed for profit; our product development, pricing, and partnerships are built around delivering meaningful, sustainable impact for the students and campuses we serve. We recognize that our pace and performance expectations are high and not the right fit for everyone, and we remain committed to strengthening leadership, accountability, and the overall employee experience as we grow

Pros

The mission and desire to help students is sincerely held by many people.

Cons

Leadership is insecure and spiraling. At a leadership offsite where a new vision was being revealed for the first time, the CEO asked for feedback. The request seemed genuine. It felt like a safe space. Someone brave (not me) raised their hand and respectfully asked how the new strategy would affect our current priorities, because we sometimes feel spread thin as it is. Did the CEO accept the feedback he asked for? Absolutely not. Instead he fired back “Are you calling me unreasonable?!” Then proceeded to tell us that he will not take his foot off the gas and anyone who complains does not belong here. He could not accept anything but positive feedback. The essence of toxic positivity, as so many of these reviews have mentioned. Guess how many other people spoke up and gave feedback that day? Zero. It was at that moment I knew that I did not belong there.

We operate in a fast-paced environment with high expectations, which requires trust, resilience, and a willingness to engage in direct and sometimes difficult conversations. This approach is not the right fit for everyone, but it reflects how we align around our mission to foster student success and improve the health and well-being of campus communities. We continue to invest in strengthening how we listen, communicate, and lead through these moments.
