Pros

Great colleagues. Smart VP's but at least 6 VP sales left in past 3 years. Unlimited PTO's. Career promotions for lower levels as most senior levels left or are leaving.

Cons

- C E O is not the right person for years already for the next growth. He built a successful business but after the years of glories driven my compliance growth, failed to take the company anywhere regarding new products that all failed … APT, SPI … even the latest compliance modules were not delivered with customers paying 12-18 months of subscription with absolute zero delivery. But as the C E O says ‘they must be patient’ … But no one can focus on understanding or question why the product team does not deliver anything lately … simply because the CEO himself looks after this. So it’s basically his own failure which for now the board has failed to identify him as being the source of all recent failures. - C E O surrounds himself with C-levels who are ‘yes men’. If no yes men = you are out. - if that was not enough, the C O O who was a young finance person from one of our one initial investors, got promotions over promotions late years after having failed everything he led in the company. smart Rx, failure. Then got promoted to SVP. Led directly the new products with a set of 3/4 GM’s (APT, SPI, Opus platform …). All failed under his direct supervision. All GM’s left or were fired. So C O O could still cover himself hiding his deep failures. He never had an operational job and is C O O … I am yet to see any result. - C F O … does not know how a global company operates. - C R O’s … an excellent - C R O left early retirement due to C E O simply not able of being consistent, and sharing power. A new C R O joined (excellent one but too smart for the yes man attitude needed), left after 6 months. - AE’s: i can’t recall seeing one in 2023 who was there 5 years ago. Question: How long further can the board be lied to, bullied and hidden from the real negative impact of those execs leading the business they heavily invested in? At most senior leader roles … if you fail you are let go or if you have self-respect you leave on your own will.

Compensation, health benefits, lunches & snacks, commute & parking, friends, travel

Cons

2015 - 2021 were the glory days. ton of business, growth, no competition, lucky and struck lightning after a government mandated tech solution in the pharma market. Present day..... increased competition, multiple scrapped new product launches, saturated market with capped growth potential, market share decline, leaders with huge egos disconnected from the market and with a big yet unrealistic vision, micro-managing & bullying of subordinates, closed off to employee feedback, dozens of key employees continuously departing "revolving door", a toxic "only tell me what I want to hear!" work culture, some "inner circle" nepotism and then older employees hiding under the radar just long enough until they can retire, client churn, etc. Nothing will change unless the Board steps in for a regime change.  Best thing would be for a big tech player to acquire the company and add it to their pharma platform portfolio as a niche solution to check that box. Sad but honest and candid snapshot. This isn't a disgruntled employee review. Outlook is full of hurdles, landmines, and gloom. For your consideration only. Its your call.

Pros

Startup feel with a largish headcount, innovative new platform. Legacy platform with sustained customer base. Robust benefits. Decent salary compared to industry. New headquarters for those looking for in-person interaction.

Cons

New platform is unstable with little to no customers. Rigid adherence to not-invented-here mentality resulting in inferior copies of commercial products. Little room for career growth. Mandatory weekend deployment work. Gaslighting employees that the previously stated permanent work from home option wasn't really permanent and that we had a month to return to the office for 3-4 days a week for greater 'collaboration' opportunities. We all know that you have a new headquarters to fill and management likes to see the space filled.

Thank you for sharing your feedback! As TraceLink continues explosive growth in both our product lineup and through our global offices, we know that change is a part of that growth. We also realized that relationships deteriorated through self-quarantine for years, and in-person interactions with our hundreds of global colleagues leads to stronger working relationships along with more predictable, high quality results. We will continue to invest in our recent successful new product introductions, as well as professional growth programs for our talent. Sincerely, Jeff Sa Vice President, Talent Acquisition & Development TraceLink, Inc.
