Pros

Flexible hours, willing to work around school schedules etc. Lots of good training, employee network, etc.

Cons

Hire a lot of prn employees to avoid giving benefits and bonuses. Prn's are required to work more than full time, and over time.

Pros

Nice, but stressed out co-workers.

Cons

They will have you come in and work scheduled days off because they are always short handed. This was the procedure. You got grief if you didn't come in. There were never enough phlebotomists and they were always running around on the in-patient floors to cover all the patients. Basically, they use you up and then cast you aside.
