Pros

Decent salary. Few good people in a mix of sales dinasaours , not age wise, thought wise. Most upper mgmt equivalent to car salesman cartoon illustrations. Yes, listed as pro. My manager was one of the few decent ones.

Cons

No work/life balance, Inept mgmt across the board, horrible product to sell, poisonous culture, very strongly suggest anyone looking for a real career to run.

Like being bullied? Come here!

Pros

Good benefits made it hard to leave.

Cons

If you like being bullied, come here! Don't go to your boss or HR for help, because they're completely useless. The admin, HR, call center, and accounting teams love their gossip and friendships. If you're not a part of the in crowd, then expect them to make your life a hell. Favoritism rules here! I went to both my boss and to HR to speak up when a coworker (and boss' friend) was belittling and berating my team (and myself) and was the one who got written up for speaking up. No one deserves to be humiliated or bullied. Gave my notice after years and haven't looked back.

Pros

The best part about working with TriNet was providing their solution to the customer. There is a great sense of partnership when working with the customer as they evaluate services for PEO and helping them understand the value proposition and benefits from going with the TriNet solution. Co-workers are very supportive and helpful but they are also very focused on trying to bring in their number that they only have so much bandwidth to help new people. I am writing this so that no one makes the mistake I made to risk your financial status and family life.

Cons

I am a tenured sales rep and was recruited to become a sales consultant. I was told TriNet was an exciting place to work where you could make a career working for this incredible place. As I went through training it became very clear that they wanted an inside sales reps and their focus was a call center mentality. Management did nothing to help new sales reps onboard nor help motivate for success and only focused on short term results and meeting sales metrics. I spent ten months trying to figure out how best to grow an untapped market with no leadership support, horrible leads and with much criticism and speculation. I had a track record of success and failed at TriNet. When I was put on a performance plan the week before Christmas with 45 days to create a miracle, I was told "This should have happened a long time ago." More tenured reps told me it takes at least a year to eighteen months to build the business. It was too bad it did not work out but if you are looking to work somewhere for the long term, TriNet is probably not the place for you.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. We appreciate all former and current employee reviews, as it helps us become a better organization. For even the most tenured sales person, the PEO sale can be difficult due to complexity. It can also take time to establish yourself in a new vertical or territory. We provide as many resources to empower our sales reps so they can experience success as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, it does not work out for everyone. We wish you the best in all your future endeavors. Thank you for your feedback and helping us improve our organization.
