Pros

Passionate people, corporate evangelists preaching the healing powers of TriNet. This is a great place to work, but only in the corporate headquarter location, San Leandro.

Cons

- Destructive Narcissism, - Chaos due to growth, - California "Silicon Valley" mindset, - Premature drive to go public, executive team members "checking out" - No industry experience in the CEO direct team - Multiple org changes due to acquisitions

TriNet Response

Thank you for taking the time and sharing your perspective as a long tenured employee. We definitely experienced tremendous growth – and some growing pains. Your input is valuable and helps us focus on what matters. To ensure TriNet’s success and continue our growth, we need everyone to feel empowered and heard. We monitor feedback on Glassdoor and other sites to respond in a timely manner. We care and seek feedback to help us become better. There is absolutely no directive to maintain a certain score and/or ‘adjust’ negative postings. Again, thank you for your dedicated service and for taking the time to let us know how we can improve. We are listening and we wish you the best in all your endeavors.

Pros

My peers were some of the best business analysts and IT developers in the business. They are what kept me there as long as I stayed.

Cons

Disconnect between employees and management: when I was hired, I was very happy as I thought I had found a great place to work. That went away within the first month - as soon as I started to see what was really going on. I just couldn't believe that a company could be so bad and ended up just putting my head down and just worked. When I eventually lifted my head out of the sand, I then experienced total and utter defeat. I had so many grand ideas of how I could be a part of something great, but after being shot down time and again, I realized that it was impossible with a manager who NEVER had my back.. That, and the big brother atmosphere killed any desire I had to work and all the pride that I once had in that work.

Pros

Work from home Good benefits

Cons

TriNet is a third party outsourcing to another third party. They are moving so many jobs to lower paying countries and letting go of the hardworking, loyal employees in the US. The leaders say it's to "optimize the business", but I think we all know that is a lie. It is to add to their pockets. The customer service is just getting worse and they don't seem to care. The expertise just isn't there anymore.
