Pros

Good people and knowledge about the industry. A difficult transition to a new parent, but turning the corner and understanding how best to work together. New technologies and opportunities to push your boundaries with what is possible. Being part of a big change. Those that have latched on to the future are doing well.

Cons

Not somewhere to be if you just want to swim along. Low transparency to financial direction of company.

Unfortunate acquisition.

Pros

The original TPT people are knowledgeable, high integrity and fun individuals. It's a shame that the ION acquisition has crushed these good souls.

Cons

The TPT that most customers have adopted prior to 2014 is not the same as the current incarnation of the company. The new ownership has demolished all that was good with TPT. There is no innovation or enthusiasm or customer centric mind set in the current version of the company. Management does not value experience or insight, the ION team is converting the talent pool to robotic yes-men/women so they can execute a strategy that is only known to a handful of people. Nice job with communication (sarcasm) and crushing the innovative spirit of good people.

Pros

Works with somewhat new technology, niche of commodity trading is still hot.

Cons

No transparency, no direction, no motivation, always fear of layoffs, do not care about employees, over work them, cost cutting at a level where company does not spend on receptionist.
