I dont need to speak of how opaque and unyielding the management is, as almost all reviewers have covered that. - Engineering seriously lacks innovation. They dont(are unable to?) hire great programmers and ION/acquisition didn't change anything on this front. The offshore engineering leadership is crippled with old school bureaucratic mentality. -Client facing teams lost some great folks and the management has done little to control the loss of talent. Implementation team is extremely top heavy. They need to lose the middle management layer and hire technical SMEs/young consultants who are willing to roll up the sleeves. Also, the energy spent on producing perfect documents is near maniacal.

1. biggest and worst pain in company is cast politics, inefficient people got promotions and handsome appraisal while hardworking and efficient people have to prove a lot. 2. More number of managers & Leaders then developers (70-30%) - ratio of managers & developers 3. New managements are continuously saying company is doing good but they can't prove. (appraisal is dull & no managerial changes ) 4. Lack of clarity for company's profile to employee that's why lot of good employee of company already left and trends is continue. 5. employee (developers & leads only not managers ) in pune are working as slave of US office. 6. Managers in company are true managers, they don't have much work. Hope new management should identify this managers and take some action. 7. Other competitors of company are targeting good employee to pick as well as they are targeting client also.

Inexperienced managers, also sometimes disorganised management. Also, now that they have been sold to ION, salaries have been cut and there has been no indication of company strategy, which is ridiculous.

Manager act like you are disposable. No respect at all

1. Not the best pay master anymore. It was the best in Pune two years ago. Company is facing a tough time competing to banking giants in Pune and facing a high attrition rate. 2. Not for a faint-hearted person. Expect lot of work. 3. Work-load on current employees is high due to high-attrition rate and very few new joining. 4. Feudalism was promoted in the company by previous owners in form of managing everything through 12-15 lords a.k.a. senior managers. Separate toilets, separate cabins, special perks (iPhones, internet dongles) and special dinners with dignitaries for senior managers reminds of caste system in a software company. Most of the senior managers possess technical skills of medieval period with limited management skills; still they call all the shots in the company. All such things are expected to be scrapped in next 1-2 years by the new owners.

Take over has killed the company

Company is not creating a brand in Pune, and that's why even with such good work, we only hear negative things on these sites.

Detrimental changes to internal culture, bureaucracy, customer satisfaction, client retention. All of the valuable employees have now left the company and the best practice knowledge with them. Problem starts from the top and permeates throughout ION management below Andrea Pignataro. The good sales people and account managers were helpless to service clients so they all left. The client facing executives that are left are a joke.
