Pros

- This technology works as advertised, and customers realize fast ROI. - Self-motivated employees that can learn and grow on their own can advance their careers in a rapidly in-demand technology sector. - Office-based employees enjoy delivered lunches and refrigerators stocked with White Claw. - Employees wanting a quick jump start to their careers, are able to put in long hours, and are more attracted by working on whiz-bang technology than reliable compensation will be fulfilled. - Sales/presales/customer success employees will receive significant amounts of sales training.

Cons

- Employees that need clear communication, vision, strategy, and direction from executive management will not do well here. - Employees that expect clear compensation goals and regular, predictable payments will not do well here. - To date, stateside C-level executives have not lasted more than a year. This has caused a constant churn in management and a new strategy, direction, and compensation goal every month.

EMC/Nutanix Version 2 Sales Candidates Beware

Business Outlook

Pros

Great product, RPA Market, and visionary CEO.

Cons

Copy/Paste sales leadership from EMC, Nutanix etc. There is no culture of a company who hires 1000s of people in months. At best you have the culture of EMC Nutanix, with your sales leadership. Sales leadership has little experience selling software, were immediately put into UiPath management with no understanding of the company, the pains, or the sales cycle. They manage by grinding the team with metrics, and fragmented strategies. Prepare to have unrealistic numbers, quickly shrinking territories. Moral is at an all time low and as others have stated, the level of job security is nearly zero.

Pros

Market is hot hot hot. Interesting technology. Great product. Sales training a good investment.

Cons

Hiring freeze and unreasonable sales leadership endangering customer service and making it harder to make unreasonable quotas. If you are a Nutanix or EMC alum you walk on water even if you miss deliverables or fail to understand market or product. Politics is increasing every day. Partnership team behind. Executives do not understand deal dynamics and have little interest in helping to close deals. Focus is on spreadsheet and Salesforce management not people or customers.
