Impossible to make sales numbers

Pros

Benefits are nice (401K, PEX card, Healthcare, unlimited PTO). People who have been here a while are very helpful. Strong software platform, great technical people. CEO Daniel Dines has a great heart and a good vision, the execution is what is painful.

Cons

Managers are not leaders. Many are berating of their teams. Avg deal size is so low it's almost impossible to make quota. Quotas are not assigned based on true market opportunity and maturity. Only a few reps making number. Territories shrinking. If you are looking to come aboard, know what renewals you have before signing up.

Marketing hype doesn't match reality - BEWARE

Pros

- Investor funding and high market interest - Clever people - lots of good talent - Rapid growth, exciting place to be

Cons

- Say RPA "without hint of coding" - reality is all projects beyond a PoC have developers ... even JD for pre-sales says need years of coding experience - overselling comes with high risk - Talking lots about AI, but no capabilities just a roadmap - vaporware is hard to sell with a clear conscience + not going to waste time pushing IBM Watson - Lots of partnerships but lacking focus or execution - Oracle relationship isn't delivering ROI - Lots of sales reps, rapid hiring, high targets, poor profit share = internal competition and unhappy - Small deal sizes - pushing the product at dirt cheap prices, one bot at a time - only a few key accounts actually scaling automation successfully

What isn't a con working here? The bad heavily outweighed the good. Being laid off with no respect, treated like a criminal.
