Pros

The company used to be good to work for. They offered a company vehicle, decent pay, with lots of opportunities.

Cons

The upper management is trying to turn things around for stakeholders but that means making decisions solely based on numbers. Unfortunately Too many people in leadership or management roles that are in way over their heads and don't know how to lead. Software and service issues galore, which make it easy to lose customers to competitors.

Pros

Medical benefits & weekly direct deposit (but you can get those at other companies)

Cons

It starts at the top. United gets passed on from one investment group to another. Their only goal is revenue so executive management can cash out. Operations, drivers and outside sales are treated terribly. Employees do NOT get raises, they increase your work load and sell you on making more money but the goals are not attainable. Don't waste your time here.

Pros

There are no pros for working at USS. The c-suite has turned twice in 1.6 years. It’s a mess of directionless wannabes.

Cons

Removed SVP of Sales and some VP of Sales in certain parts of the country. How can you have a cohesive training program or build a career path!?!! GM/VP model added but there are no GMs with sales experience. Work load is ridiculous as the GMs delegate all sales related tasks to the DOS. Micromanaged to KPIs set by people no longer with the company. Turn over is around 60% and management team was asked why they weren’t smiling during a recent meeting. The beatings will continue until morale improves.
