Short staffed, call offs and turnover.

I cannot think 0f any cons at this time

PTO and sick days are combined. After 6 call-ins during a year, you will be fired. Difficult if you’re parenting a daycare kid who spikes fevers just for fun.

You have to use pto for holidays

Abbe center is now affiliated with UnityPoint do the pto and holidays off are different

Very high turnover rate. Have to use PTO for holidays off (even if clinic is closed) Lower pay for some positions. Some coworkers can be difficult to deal with Management doesn’t do much about concerns Health insurance does not cover great mental health care

overworked and underpaid. No true 'holiday pay' as it comes out of your earned time. Very difficult to build PTO.

low wages, retention within the staff is low because they don't pay enough to keep people around that bring skills and good work ethic.

Other departments excluding nurses do not receive market raises. Nurses/case managers received two or three market increase while administrative assistant/scheduling received 0 even though the workflow has increased.
