Pros

-Work remotely anywhere -Good benefits -Good HR Team

Cons

-Meeting heavy culture -Poor Planning Company-Wide -Directors are expected to do a lot of heavy lifting that is VP level -Innovation isn't valued from teams that aren't in product -Problems stemming from poor executive leadership, which has lead to poor planning and resource management (V2MOM) pre and post IPO, which is now creating low employee morale across marketing, sales, product, systems, and engineering. The culture is super meeting heavy and because the executive team is slow to make changes and allergic to basic process like requiring all employees to add agendas to meetings and using one project management system to operationalize the V2MOM, there is a snowball effect.

Pros

Most of the people are a joy to work with Office is very nice with a great view West Coast benefits in an East Coast office (yoga, massages, snacks) Catered lunches twice a week Bi-monthly happy hours expensed SDR position is easy

Cons

Executives in SF are out of touch with the realities of the Atlanta office No recognition and little appreciation of the SDR team Good luck getting a promotion High turnover Quotas and expectations are unattainable Good leadership is hard to come by in both Atlanta and San Fransisco No real defined means to make commission (subjective and often decided by the AE) Extensive outreach, little or no legitimate leads

UserTesting appreciates your feedback and would like to take this opportunity to listen, learn, and improve moving forward. We are always looking to create new ways to recognize our team’s performance and provide credit to the individuals that help us drive our business. One way we recognize top performing employees is through promotions and the SDR Team has seen a large amount of internal mobility in the last year. In fact, more than 25% of our SDR Team has been promoted during the last 12 months, with numerous other promotions from years prior. We are sorry to hear that your experience didn't meet your desired outcome. We will factor your feedback into how UserTesting makes decisions moving forward.

Pros

I've worked at many start ups over the years and User Testing is the only company I've worked for that makes me feel truly respected as a human "being" and not a just human "resource." The benefits and various perks are the most generous I have ever been offered by any company. For instance, the additional free PTO between Xmas and New Years is amazing, the 401K matching up to 5% is great, the catered Tuesday and Thursday lunches and fully stocked snack room (of healthy snacks) are wonderful and a real convenience if your day is booked. BTW I see another review saying to beware of positive reviews because the company asks people to post positive reviews when bad ones are posted. The same is true in reverse! Beware of negative reviews, including some that may be bogus, after someone has been let go by the company for cause and is disgruntled.

Cons

I find the San Francisco engineering office difficult to travel to and park near so I don't tend to visit there much. While the catered lunches are great to have, I find that the menus are overly fancy, and then the food isn't up to the quality I expect. Because it's a fast-growing agile company, processes are not necessarily well known or communicated fully, often because they're being tweaked.
