Pros

Very old tech stacks (plural), so: mature and refined, including DevOps stuff. Teammates were good. Smart and skilled, and friendly and nice to work with.

Cons

Very old tech stacks (plural), so: a little decrepit, with some legacy code, and dark corners and knowledge blind spots as most long-time engineers are no longer with the company. Two companies sort of merged not too long ago, so that meant two different codebases needing to integrate and work together. That was very challenging, but we mostly were getting it to work.

Pros

Really enjoyed my time at UserTesting. The team cares about the product and customers, and leadership is approachable. Overall, a great place to grow and feel valued.

Cons

Like many growing companies, there can be shifting priorities or internal reorgs, which sometimes make things feel a bit uncertain.
